Real Estate Principles

This course covers the basic fundamentals of real estate and advanced to basic concepts, from agency relationships, closing procedures, laws, and principles as they apply to  California Real Estate.  It describes the functions of The California Department of Real Estate (CalDRE) as it pertains to obtaining, renewing, and maintaining a real estate license in California. It will not only prepare the student for the state exam but will inspire the students as they move forward to their other courses and a fulfilling career in Real Estate.

Implicit bias

Education on the impact of implicit, explicit, and systemic bias on consumers, including the historical and social implications of biases, and actionable steps to recognize and address personal implicit biases

Fair housing

An interactive participatory component where the applicant role plays as both the consumer and the real estate professional

This course offers fundamental instructions to teach you the practical, on-the-job skills that a real estate licensee needs to be successful. You'll learn the basics of prospecting,  comparable market analysis presentations, listing contracts, and disclosure forms. You’ll be walked, step-by-step through a real estate transaction, and learn to complete the seller and buyer forms. It describes the functions of The California Department of Real Estate (CalDRE) as it pertains to practice and in fieldwork.  It will not only prepare the student for the state exam but will inspire the students as they move forward to their other courses and a fulfilling career in Real Estate.

Real Estate Finance - Your Elective 

This course is a great journey into the world of Real Estate Finance starting from the History of Finance and the Federal Reserve to the modern banking systems that make the dream of home buying a possibility.
